We are finding more and more that CCTV has become far more integrated with other systems such as intruder, car park and access control. We have installed combined systems where a low voltage electric fence can not only provide a safe warning electric shock but will automatically alarm at a remote site and pan cameras around to the location of activation. This is all done automatically without remote control. The operator, who could be in another country, is then able to control the tilt and zoom of the camera and speak to the intruder over a public address sited next to the camera. This public address can also be two way, allowing the intruder to reply and explain their presence. We have found that these types of installation are rapidly replacing un reliable manned guarding of sites overnight, proving to be extremely cost effective. DMG have conducted approximately twenty installations of this nature since November 2010 and the demand is growing.
